Hyundai had successfully joined the luxury car industry when they revealed their Genesis model last 2009. As far as the competition is concern, Hyundai enhanced their previous model of Genesis into an outstanding one called the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec.
Providing a very competitive power-train, R-Spec is using a 5.0 liter DOHC V8 engine that has a power of 429 horsepower with 376 lb-ft of torque. With the help of Gasoline Direct Injection and variable valve timing, the new 5.0 makes a lot of difference, “breathing nothing but air”. Unlike the other cars that are equipped with turbochargers and superchargers, the new Genesis has natural aspirated engine. The said concept has the ability to produce a throttle response that is exclusive for natural aspirated engines only. A lightweight concept and breakable parts are also installed in this model. The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan has the ability to sprint from 0-60 mph at about 5 seconds, having 1,500 rpm in 300 lb-ft of torque and 6,400 in its power. Restoring the suspension tuning helps it to become more spirited to its opponents. Having a 19mm rear sway bar, higher spring rates and higher damping rated shocks makes a lot of from its predecessors. A non-existent, crisp, and informative body roll and excellent steering wheel are some of the features in this class.
