Debut of BMW M3 CRT Sedan

One of BMW‘s remarkable cars is the M3, now they have revealed the lightweight edition of M3 called M3 CRT. This car is equipped with BMW’s advanced Carbon Racing Technology.

With the help of BMW’s newest lightweight material, the Carbon Fiber reinforced plastic which they used in the two front seats and in the hood. M3 CRT is more powerful with good handling on tracks and just 45kg lighter than the normal M3 sedan. They also used a Titanium exhaust, 9 inch y-spoke alloy wheels and much improved sound proofing system. As they have done a tremendous job in improving the weight of this car, the design is also a big factor in this model. They installed a front lip spoiler, vented hood, blacked-out grilles, and a tail spoiler to make the CRT more good looking. With its great standards like navigation, a high-end BMW Individual audio system, and parking sensors, M3 CRT is definable as one of the greatest cars of BMW.

BMW M3 CRT is powered by a 4.4 liter V8 engine that has a stunning power of 444 hp at 8300rpm and 440 Nm torque at 3750rpm. The engine is paired with a seven speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission system with the ability to dash from 0-62 mph at about 4.4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 180 mph. It is said that only 67 units of this model will be produced and each car will be painted in frozen polar silver metallic with orange and black in the interior.

New Generation of Sports Car – Audi A7

Car manufacturers have done a tremendous job in staying and surviving the epic battle of introducing new models of cars to the car market today. As some developers revealed their latest model, Audi has also unveiled their new car named Audi A7. This is a sporty and more space car that is equipped with the most advanced technology today. One of which is the Google Earth, an internet feature which is now in car features, and other information and entertainment designs. It is powered by a 310 horsepower supercharged V6 engine paired by an eight-speed tiptronic transmission with Quattro all-wheel drive system. Touch screen input may not be available but the MMI’s knobs, buttons and steering-wheel-mounted controls works perfectly. Audi A7 has also this feature that gives free internet connection to the passengers in the car, called the T-Mobile 3G which is also used for navigation system and other features.

Historic Car Show at the Church

Big Country Region Car Club showed different types of vintage automobiles displayed in the parking lot at The Church in Seven Run. Old music serenades the visitors and car lovers while they are enjoying watching the restored cars. Jerry Prodoehl, Director of Big Country Region Car Club brings his 1939 Chevy truck which he said that it is originally a farm truck in his family. He decided to bring back his vehicle, and now when you look at it you never thought that this truck spend hard day on the farm.

Joe Hyla, the event coordinator said that they are helping each other in bringing classic cars into life. Hyla owned a 1967 Chevelle Malibu and a member of the Anne Arundel County chapter since 1984. Big Country Region is actually a Chevrolet Club but in a Saturday show they accept various kinds of models because it is a non-judge occasion. They let other people to showcase their vintage with no competition at all, purely just for fun. In connection with this, they let visitors to pick their favorite car and the top three cars will be given a trophy and the same time the Director (Prodoehl) will give the Director’s Choice trophy to the owner of his favorite vehicle.

The Club will hosts 4 Car Shows and one of this show is an annual show which is held at the Downs Park in Pasadena. Big Country Region Car Club is also a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) and they scheduled to travel this year for the VCCA Fiftieth Anniversary event.

Redesigning Toyota Yaris – More Competitive in its Class

Toyota has made a lot of cars that makes a name in the car market. As the competition of a subcompact-car segment gets tighter and tighter, Toyota has made a ground-up redesigning for their price leading car, Yaris for 2012 version. A hybrid version of this car is impossible at this time but the company promised to add European lineup at end of 2012. This model is expected to have a five door hatchback and four door sedans which will be available in Toyota showrooms soon.
